Our Autumn Concert is a joyful showcase of the incredible musical ability and enthusiasm of boys across Bedford Prep School and a charming highlight of the term.
This year’s concert was a wonderfully festive evening filled with music for every taste — from the iconic Supergrass hit Caught by the Fuzz (performed by our talented Prep Rockers, inspired by hearing it at the Bedford Park concerts) to some lively Irish Ceilidh tunes. It even featured two of the best-known pieces from Tchaikovsky’s Christmas-themed ballet The Nutcracker – the energetic, fast-paced Russian Dance counterbalanced by the elegant, graceful Waltz of the Flowers.
Our choirs lit up the stage, showcasing not only their incredible singing but some impressive dance moves too! While, the Prep Concert Band brought the audience into the fun with an energetic rendition of Tequila, that had everyone joining in.
