Dr Mark Bloomfield has spent more than 20 years using artificial intelligence to solve complex real-world problems. A Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School and founder of Turbulence AI, he works with senior executives to shape practical, organisation-wide AI strategy. His expertise is trusted by major global organisations including HSBC, National Grid, Bauer Media and Unilever, and he was commissioned to author an AI leadership whitepaper for the World Government Summit 2026.

Mark’s career bridges deep technical expertise, commercial transformation and academic rigour. His PhD developed AI optimisation algorithms for Airbus; he then spent a decade leading commercial AI transformation in the media industry, building systems that delivered eight-figure returns. Today, he teaches executive leaders at Cambridge, advises Fortune 500 companies on AI adoption, and continues to build and implement AI systems in practice. It’s a combination that means he can speak with equal authority to boards, engineers and customers.

Lex Lang is Deputy Head – Innovation and Partnerships at Caterham Prep and IAPS National Advisor for Digital Innovation. With more than twenty years of experience across state and independent sectors, Lex leads whole-school approaches to digital strategy, innovation culture, and the thoughtful integration of new technologies into teaching and learning. Lex’s work frequently explores how emerging technologies can meaningfully support and transform pedagogy. Since the arrival of the new generation of AI tools in 2022, he has been looking in particular at the potential uses and impacts of AI systems, developing and leading research into how 1:1 student access to classroom AI can change feedback, independence and lesson design.

As a founder member of the IAPS Digital Advisory Team, Lex works with schools across the country, helping them to shape sustainable digital transitions, strengthen staff confidence and build future-ready school cultures. Lex regularly speaks and advises on innovation, digital strategy and the changing landscape of classroom practice.

Bianca Farthing is the Founder of AI Edify and the Initiative for Conscious AI, and a researcher in AI ethics and education. A former teacher and digital leader in the UK independent sector, her work explores the intersection of pedagogy, policy, and technological design. Bianca advises schools and organisations on responsible AI strategy, with a focus on safeguarding, agency, and meaningful integration. Her practice is grounded in critical inquiry, human development, and care.

Christian is EdTech Lead at Chiltern Learning Trust. His experience spans two decades of leadership in education technology, as a teacher, school and local authority leader and CPD designer. He has been published in several journals and has worked with several large organisations on edtech courses including the Department for Education and The Queen Rahnia Teacher Academy. He is also an expert facilitator and features in national materials for the NPQ in Leading Teacher Development. He is passionate about the potential for learning and about technology in schools.

Paul is Director of Digital Learning at Bedford School. He has a masters in Computer Science and a commercial background in software design and development in the live events industry. He has led our digital strategy with skill and vision—driving 1:1 device rollout, staff training, curriculum development, and whole‑school digital adoption. His expertise in Computer Science combined with his experience as a resource developer for ZigZag Education and reviewer for Educake, has strengthened our teaching and assessment practice across the board.

Passionate about technology, robotics, programming and AI, Paul inspires pupils and staff alike. His guidance has been invaluable in helping our community navigate an ever‑evolving digital landscape.
