Thank you to all of those that supported this event, and in particular to the former Director of Music, Andrew Morris (Staff 79-11), for joining us at our most recent London Business Networking Forum on 6th October.

As some OBs and partners had enjoyed a walking tour of city churches earlier in the afternoon we carried on the theme and met at St Ethelburga’s Church. Interestingly this Church had survived the Great Fire of London and Second World War relatively unscathed only to be completely destroyed by an IRA bomb in 1993.

Andrew spoke to those assembled about the work of the Livery Companies, and in particular his involvement with the Worshipful Company of Musicians where he has been the Master for the last year. It was very kind of Andrew to do this as he was going on to the Mansion House for a formal white tie dinner. Hopefully a number of OBs may now look into becoming liverymen. Following the speeches everybody enjoyed catching up informally and making some new contacts.

If you have not ever attended one of these events, please do feel free to come along in the future – it would be great to see you!
