Movember is more than just moustaches – it is a movement of energy and community spirit. This year’s campaign has been nothing short of impressive, with boys and staff coming together to raise awareness and funds for men’s health in ways that truly resonate.
From the fast-paced excitement of dodgeball to the sweet success of weekly cake sales, every event has united the school behind this important cause. The inaugural Movember Ball was a standout evening where parents and staff did their bit to set the tone for what is proving to be a memorable month.
Adding to the buzz, Open Mic Night showcased incredible talent from both our boys and girls from Bedford Girls’ School, proving that music can be a powerful force for good.
Education has been at the heart of the campaign too. The Movember Citizenship Morning gave boys the chance to learn about both mental and physical health, sparking conversations that matter. Meanwhile, the MoBros – a dedicated group of Upper Sixth Formers – have led impactful sessions with the Prep School, focusing on mental health and wellbeing. Read Marvellous Moustaches for Movember.
The competitive spirit has not been left behind either. From Mo Netball with Bedford Girls’ School to House Tug of War, and even a thrilling silent auction, the variety of events is keeping everyone engaged. And with anticipation building for the much-awaited Movember film, the exciting finale is just around the corner.
At its core, Movember is about more than fundraising – it is about promoting awareness, encouraging healthier lifestyles and changing the face of men’s health. Through singing, sport and shared experiences, the school community is proving that when we come together, we can make a real difference.
