A big thank you to the Parents’ Guild for coming up with the idea of a tug of war competition as part of the School’s Movember Campaign. It was right up the street of teenage boys; team work, power, and vocal support!

Thank you to the Parents’ Guild Committee for helping to organise the event. The inter House competition on 23rd November resulted in Crescent House coming out on top as the victors. It was particularly good to see Old Bedfordian Councillor Tom Wootton (78-87) back to provide some coaching and to act as the official umpire. Tom is very involved with the Young Farmers tug of war tournament which is fiercely contested across the country. As you may be aware the School uses the Movember campaign not only as a way to support this charity, but also as a vehicle for the boys to explore and discuss male health issues.
