Our Y3, Y4 and Y5 choir gave a fantabulous performance of Roald Dahl’s gigantically amusing Jack and The Beanstalk: The Musical on Friday 10 May.
Would smelly Jack ever take a bath to evade a giant with a clever nose? Would Jack’s greedy mother come out triumphantly rich? The answer to the last question is, sadly, no. However, as Jack explains, “A bath does seem to pay. I’m going to have one every day.”
Based on Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes version of the fairy tale, the mini-musical was full of laugh-out-loud songs, a wickedly witty storyline, superb acting and joyful singing from the whole cast.
Congratulations to all the boys and their teachers for a brilliant mini-musical enjoyed immensely by family and friends who came to support them.
