Director of the BSA, Hugh Maltby (73-83), recently took part in the Extramile cycling challenge raising funds for Bedfordshire Open Door, a charity which provides valuable, free counselling for young people aged between 13-25 years old.

The event was part organised by Bedford Park Rotary and featured 12 members of the school community (Old Bedfordians and Past Parents), who pedalled the picturesque and challenging byways of the Cotswolds and Forest of Dean, completing 170 miles in one weekend.

Find out how much the group raised for this very worthy cause here.
