On Sunday 26th June, Assistant Director of the OB Club, Gina Worboys, took part in the CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk, alongside Jamie Worboys (98-09), Tom Bingham (02-13), Alex Parsons-Mills (97-07) and a group of 20 other family and friends.

The group took part in the walk to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) in memory of Gina’s son Robert Worboys (98-07) who died suddenly and tragically of an undiagnosed cardiac problem aged just 27. Please click here for further details and how to make a donation.

Since its formation in 1995, CRY has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD, whilst also promoting and developing heart screening programmes and funding medical research.
