We are always delighted to hear about our boys’ exploits, especially when they embody our school values, so this story of kindness and community spirit from one of our Y4 boys, James Holt, was uplifting to hear.

As you may know, over the Christmas break, Bedford and many of its surrounding villages suffered some heavy flooding. Harrold was one of these areas, with many streets and homes in the village flooded. Its residents needed help, and James was keen to do his bit to help. Alongside others in the village, he spent a day recovering his neighbours’ garden that had been washed across a road.

Headmaster, Ian Silk, commented, “It is lovely to see such kindness in action and making a real difference to a community. Well done, James.”
