The inaugural, and highly enjoyable, Bedford School House Culinary Challenge took place on Monday 13 June.
After a masterclass from the school’s chefs, boys from each house were tasked to create their own Escalope of Turkey ‘Diane’ and Crepe Suzette. Each team was marked on the taste, appearance and aroma of their dish, knife skills and working practices.
After the all-important final judging and taste testing, Bromham | Burnaby were awarded the top prize for their turkey escalope with wilted spinach and their crêpe Suzette with orange and Grand Marnier.
