Holiday Courses and Activities
Bedford School offers a variety of courses designed to keep children active and curious in the school holidays.
The courses take place on our beautiful school grounds and in our excellent sports facilities.
Booking is simple–just follow the steps below.
Summer Holidays 2026
Cricket Camp
Dates: Monday 6 – Thursday 9 July
Times: 10.00am to 3.00pm (arrive from 9.45am)
Venue: Bedford School (meet at the Langham Pavilion)
Cost: £240 per boy (sibling discount available)
Open to Bedford School boys in Year 5 to Year 9.
The Summer Cricket Camp will be a fun four days full of opportunities to practise batting, bowling and fielding skills using our first-class facilities and equipment at Bedford School, including the nets, bowling machines and other cricket training aids. As well as improving their cricket skills, boys will play small sided games and matches every day throughout the course.
The course is for boys currently in years 5 to 9, and where possible they will train within their age range and of a similar ability to ensure enjoyment for all.

Y4 & Y5 Multi Sports Courses
Dates: Monday 6 – Thursday 9 July
Times: 10.00am to 3.00pm (arrive from 9.45am)
Venue: Bedford School
Cost: £240 per boy (sibling discount available)
Open to Bedford School boys in Year 4 and Year 5.
The multi sports summer course offers four action‑packed days where boys can dive into a wide range of activities, developing skills and confidence across sports including badminton, table tennis, swimming (both free swim and coached lessons), football, basketball, cricket and tennis.
Using Bedford School’s outstanding facilities, children will enjoy a balance of skill‑building sessions, free play and small‑sided games, giving them the chance to have fun and stay active throughout the week.

Hockey Camp
Dates: Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July | Thursday 6 and Friday 7 August
Times: 9.00am to 3.00pm
Venue: Gordon Field, Bedford School (access through Bedford Park)
Cost: £50 per day, £90 for two days
Open to all boys and girls aged 8 to 15.
Join us for action‑packed days of fun, learning and skill development. Our hockey camps are designed to help boys and girls aged 8 to 15 grow their confidence on the pitch, refine their techniques and deepen their understanding of the game – all within a friendly and supportive environment. Whether they’re new to hockey or looking to take their play to the next level, every participant will enjoy a brilliant day.
Leading the camp will be Bedford School coaches Lee Hoggett and Mark Ramage, who bring a wealth of experience from National League competition and international playing and coaching roles.
