Astronomy Courses
We offer free, short courses in astronomy at the School Observatory and Planetarium each year. Each course runs over three evenings and is designed for anyone curious about the night sky.
If the skies are clear, you will get hands-on experience using a variety of telescopes for observation. Each course also includes a planetarium show that highlights what is in Bedford’s night sky across the year.
At the end of each course, you can join the Bedford Astronomical Society should you wish to take your interest further.
