Two boys from our Upper School, have enjoyed a great summer on the athletics track.
Hurdler Reni Omotomilola, in the Upper Sixth Form, qualified for the finals at the English Schools, East Anglia Combined Events competition in Boston, Lincolnshire. Additionally, Reni has also been selected to represent Hertfordshire at the South of England Inter County match in Oxford, where he will compete in the 110m hurdles – a fantastic opportunity and a great achievement for Reni to compete against the southern counties.
Also making giant strides, is Stephen Simmons, in Removes Form, who came second in the England U15 Championships for the 80m hurdles. A great run for Stephen who gained a personal best of 11.25 seconds.
Well done to both boys and we wish you well for your up and coming events.
