Harmonising Tradition: A Lasting Gift for Our School Community

Harmonising Tradition: A Lasting Gift for Our School Community

During the summer, Neil McCleery, former Chaplain, successfully completed the school’s project to refresh the existing hymn books.  Along with the school, the project was also financially supported by the Parents’ Guild.  Their combined efforts have resulted in an updated version of the school hymn books, ensuring that it remains relevant and suitable for use by all boys in the Upper School.

This initiative ensures that each boy in the Upper School will have their own personal hymn book to use throughout their entire time at the school, promoting a sense of continuity and belonging.

We were delighted that Bev Hammond, Chair of the Parent’s Guild, and Neil were able to receive delivery of the hymn books over the summer break.  The books were then distributed to all boys in the Upper School during their first week back.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to both Neil, Bev and the Parents’ Guild for their hard work, support and commitment to this meaningful project. Their contributions will have a lasting impact, benefitting boys and enriching our school community for years to come.
