Coordinated by Colin Beesley (90-98), the OB Golf Club proved tough competition against Bradfield in this years’ Halford Hewitt Golf Tournament.

Although we eventually lost to Bradfield in the second round with a score was 4 ½ – ½, if ever there was a scoreline which did not reflect the match, this was it. We had a 2&1 loss on the 17th green, a loss on the 18th, a half on the 18th, and lost two matches on the 19th! On another day we could have won it by the very same scoreline, and we are not dispirited. The fact that we run Bradfield so close shows how much we are improving as a side, and with more good golfers coming out of the School it continues to bode well for the future.
