This year’s national and regional RIBA (Royal Institute
of British Architects) Award winners open their doors to the public in an
exclusive series of behind the scenes talks and tours.

Discover the story behind the building, the things that have
inspired some of the best modern architects and what it means to have won some
of the UK’s coveted architecture prizes.

You are invited to join Foster Wilson Architects who will
lead a talk and tour of this RIBA Regional Award winning new performing arts
centre.  Described as giving ‘both the town and Bedford School a fantastic
new flexible performance space’.  The Awards jury were impressed with the
way the ‘architects skilfully exploited the existing features of the building,
striking a balance between respect for the old and celebration of the new’.

One of four talks in the Great British Buildings series in
the East.
