James Hodgson Fund – Beyond the Gates
The area of school life that James is most proud of is our Community Outreach Programme. The Programme helps pupils to learn the importance of local community and recognise how they can use their own opportunities to benefit schools, care homes, nature reserves and charities. Boys learn empathy, responsibility, and the value of engaging meaningfully with people from diverse backgrounds. It is as beneficial to our boys, as it is to the residents of Bedford.
The Flourish Appeal
The Flourish Appeal aims to raise financial support for boys from families who would otherwise be unable to afford an independent education. Gifts to the appeal will fund 20 transformational bursaries, opening doors for talented young men from all backgrounds to access a life-changing opportunity.
Fives Court Renovation
Bedford School is undertaking a landmark renovation of the UK’s oldest Rugby Fives courts. This project will preserve a vital piece of sporting heritage while creating a modern, accessible space for future generations of players.
