Martin O’Hara, National Strategy Manager for Precision
Engineering at Cranfield University, spoke to our Lower Sixth Physics students
on Monday 20 June about some of the amazing world leading engineering projects
going on at the university (located just 12 miles away).

The students were engrossed and impressed by the breadth of
well known projects that Cranfield are involved with and how they link to
the fundamental Physics they are covering in their course. After the event Mr
O’Hara noted, “. . . some very pertinent questions from the boys, good to
get such intelligent questions, especially from those so young.  I think
they could teach our students a thing or two about listening.”
