Boys and staff enjoyed a culinary treat on Thursday 25 February when celebrity chef James Tanner joined them for the day.

James, who is an ambassador for the school’s caters Sodexo, visited the school to educate and inspire boys to enjoy ‘fresh food from scratch’.  At lunchtime, all boys and staff were treated to Chicken Yaki Udon, cooked fresh by James and the school’s chefs, in front of the boys at the wok station.

In the afternoon, some boys from the Prep School were treated to an up-close demonstration and top tips from the TV chef and restauranteur on how to cook one of his favourite childhood desserts, a fun banana split with fruit, ice cream, dark chocolate and crunchy biscuit topping – an instant hit with the boys!

The boys went home with copies of the recipe, and the knowledge and inspiration to take their cooking to the next level!
