This year’s Commemoration of our Founders and Benefactors was once again a wonderful celebration of the school’s heritage and the generosity of our community, both past and present.

Boys, teachers, Old Bedfordians and guests enjoyed a superb performance by the Chapel Choir and excellent address by the Reverend Nick Seward, Head Master of Kingham Hill School.

During the speeches, both the Head Master and Chairman of the Foundation thanked everybody for their support to the School. All donations, be they large or small, are much appreciated and are allocated wisely to bring real long lasting benefit. The Head Master also formally thanked on behalf of the School Doug and Carole Simms, who had recently retired after many years of loyal service, where they made a huge impact on lots of different areas of School life. We wish them well in their well-deserved retirement.

Following the Chapel service, guests enjoyed a lunch in the Great Hall; it is always a delight to see everybody come together with a large variety of connections to the School stretching over many years.
