The Prep School’s annual
Science-DT Family Challenge took place on Thursday 9 June. In this year’s
competition, families were challenged to produce an ‘Iodine Clock’ and build a
‘Spaghetti Bridge’.
After an intense, hard-fought
and enjoyable evening, the Hawthornes (Connor and his father) won the
prestigious trophy (the Golden Bunsen Burner) narrowly beating the Cummings
(Jasper and Zach, and their parents) into second place. The trophy is now
taking pride of place on their mantelpiece (or so we are told by Connor!)
