DVP Reception – Choir Evensong Followed by Refreshments at St Chad’s College, Durham

Bedford School Chapel Choir are delighted that they will be the “Choir in Residence” at Durham Cathedral between Tuesday 7th and Sunday 12th August. They will of course sing at a number of different services over this period.  Whether local or holidaying in the area, we hope that parents, family members, Old Bedfordians and friends of the School will join us in this historic setting.  Guided tours are available and more details can be found out at  https://www.durhamcathedral.co.uk/.

You are most welcome at any service, but please note that after Evensong on Thursday 9th August (which will start at 5.15pm) the School and Old Bedfordians Club will host a small drinks party at St Chad’s College where the staff and choristers are staying.  There will be no cost to the individual for this event, and it will take place immediately after the end of Evensong and last for approximately one hour, as the Choristers will need to be fed!  Both the Cathedral and St Chad’s have access for those with limited mobility.  To register your attendance please can we ask that you drop Clara Policella an email with the subject line 'Durham Cathedral' by the 1st August at cpolicella@bedfordschool.org.uk.
