OB Club – Scotland Gathering

We recognise that a number of Old Bedfordians and their partners will be in Edinburgh for the Calcutta Cup on 24th February. With this in mind, we would like to invite locals and visitors to an informal lunch on Friday 23rd February.

To give the event a bit of a Scottish theme, we have made a booking at the "Dining Room" at the Scottish Malt Whiskey Society, at 28 Queen Street, Edinburgh, which is a rather impressive Georgian building. The plan is to meet in the bar at 1pm and then to sit down for lunch at 1.30pm.

The "menu du jour" looks like good value at £21.95 for three courses so we have opted for this with a tip and booking fee giving a total of £25 per head. "Welcome drinks" will be covered by the OB Club, and there will, of course, be the chance to sample a wee dram!

For those driving, we have been informed that the nearest parking is in Heriot Row.

Edinburgh may be 350 miles from Bedford, but we hope that there will still be a good turnout for this special event.
OBs of all ages and their partners are most welcome.
