DVP Somerset, Gloucestershire and Bristol gathering
This October, Mark Howson (65-74), DVP for Gloucestershire and Somerset, is organising a unique and exciting opportunity for a tour of the 825 Naval Squadron at Yeovilton where they fly the Wildcat helicopter! Old Bedfordians and their partners are warmly invited to attend this afternoon tour preceded by lunch.
We will meet at a local pub, The Ilchester Arms in Yeovil, where we will have early lunch.
Timings: meet at 12:00 to start lunch at 12:30.
Cost: approx £20 per head.
We will then leave at approximately 13.15 to drive to Royal Naval Air Station, Yeovilton (circa 5 minutes / 2km away) to start the tour at 13:30.
About a month in advance, Mark will send out a menu and request confirmation and menu choices by email, and payment by a cheque in the post. He will keep attendees informed with more details as the date approaches. The Ilchester Arms tells us that they have 14 en-suite bedrooms available all with double beds at a price of £80 per night per room to include breakfast should anyone wish to stay.

Although we very much hope that guests will join us for lunch, those who are unable to do so can, of course, come along in the afternoon just for the Squadron tour if this is more convenient.
Please send indications of interest to Mark Howson at firstname.lastname@example.org (tel. 01275 849854).
