‘The Dreaming Spires’ – New College, Oxford

Old Bedfordian and Warden of New College, Oxford, Miles Young (63-72), is kindly hosting an event on Friday 19th January 2018. It is open to both local OBs and those from further afield and promises to be very special. We do hope that partners will join us too. You can find out more about New College here.

The programme is as follows;

4.30pm - Meet in the Founders Library (Coffee and tea provided)
5.00pm - Tour of New College
6.15pm – Evensong in the Chapel
7.00pm – Drinks in Warden's Lodgings
8.00pm – Finish

This promises to be a fascinating opportunity to gain a real insight into the history of an Oxford College, not to mention it’s day to day running. We hope that some OBs may make a weekend of it. For those who are not local to Oxford please note that there is a large selection of hotels and B&Bs throughout the city, and into the Cotswolds. There is no cost for this event, but we do need you to register if you plan on joining us.

Please note that car parking will not be available on-site at the College apart from for those with reduced mobility, who will need to contact Kate Sanders in advance to book a space;
