Come and Sing! Chapel Choir Reunion

Following the success of last year's reunion, we would again like to invite all Old Bedfordians who sang in the Chapel Choir to return to the School on Sunday 1st July to take part in a rehearsal and service. 

The Chapel Choir has formed an important part of school life for many generations of OBs and we hope this joint event will be a special experience for current boys as well as OBs.  This fun and lively event is open to all former choristers, of all ages. Even if you have not sung since leaving School or feel that your musical talents are not what they used to be, you will be very welcome!  For further information and to take part, please contact Assistant Director of Music, Jeremy Rouse, on jrouse@bedfordschool.org.uk

Following the service, OBs are invited to a farewell reception for our School Chaplain, the Reverend Shaun Atkins, which will take place in the Recital Hall in the Music School.  To help us with planning,  may we please ask that you email Mrs Natalie Thompson at nthompson@bedfordschool.org.uk to confirm your attendance at the reception.

For any OBs who were boarders in Eagle and Phillpotts, you are also invited to the House Barbeques later in the afternoon as they celebrate their 25 Year Anniversaries.  Full details available here

We very much hope to see as many OBs at the service as possible; family members are welcome to attend the service of course.

  • 10.00am - Rehearsal
  • 11.00am - Service
  • 12.00pm - Farewell Reception
  • 1.00pm  - Eagle and Philpotts House Barbeques
