Old Bedfordians gathered at the prestigious Guards and Cavalry Club for the annual District Vice President lunch hosted by Chris Jones (72 – 77). Twenty OBs, representing leavers across more than sixty years, met for a drinks reception before sitting down to a three course lunch.
The Director of the Old Bedfordians Club, Hugh Maltby (73 – 83), proposed the toast to the School and the OB Club and gave those present a brief update on recent developments at the School.
The lunch offered an opportunity for old friendships to be rekindled and new ones to be formed in the historic setting of the Club. After the meal, an impromptu tour of the Club took place, with guests viewing the many fine portraits of some of Britain’s most distinguished soldiers on display.
