Using My School Portal
To log in to My School Portal, please click here.
If logging in for the first time, please follow the instructions below.
New Parents
On the login screen that appears, please click on the ‘Forgot your password’ option. On the next screen, please enter your email address that is registered with us. Tick that you are human and click on the ‘Reset password’ button. This will then email you a link to set up a password. Should you have any issues logging in, please contact our IT Support Team at ITSupport@bedfordschool.org.uk. Please include your full name and the name(s) of your son/s attending the school.
Returning Parents
Please use your Firefly email and usual password. If you have not set up Firefly access, please click the ‘Forgot your password’ option on the login screen. On the next screen, please enter your email address that is registered with us. Tick that you are human and click on the ‘Reset password’ button. This will then email you a link to set up a password. Should you have any issues logging in, please contact our IT Support Team at ITSupport@bedfordschool.org.uk. Please include your full name and the name(s) of your son/s attending the school.
Mobile Access
You can also add My School Portal to your phone’s home screen. To do this, open the My School Portal website in your phone’s browser, click the ‘share’ icon (iPhone) or the three-line menu icon (Android) and then click ‘add to home screen’.

Boarders should leave their house before 18:00 on the last day of term and at half term and should return between 18.00 and 21.00 on the last day of the holidays.
On Exeat weekends, Flexi and weekly boarders are expected to leave their houses by 18:00 on that Friday and return between 18:00 and 21:00 on Sunday or before school on Monday. Full boarders can stay in the boarding house during Exeat if they wish.
School Shop
School Uniform – No Limitz
Parents can order online or visit the No Limitz store, which is located at 25 Shuttleworth Road, Bedford, MK41 0HS.
Store Opening Hours
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 to 18:00
- Saturday: 09:00 to 17:30
We strongly recommend that new parents make an in-store appointment when initially buying their son’s school uniform.
No Limitz reserves two days before the start of the autumn term for boarding appointments. Appointments must be made for these days.

Parent Guild Nearly New Shop
The Parent’s Guild also runs a Nearly New Shop on Burnaby Road.
The shop is run by friendly parent volunteers and stocks clean, good-quality uniform and sports kit for both the Prep School and Upper School. Items are generally half the cost of new items, and sellers receive 50% of the proceeds (paid annually).
Opening Times
During the school term (excluding Exeat weekends), the shop is open:
- Monday: 08:45 to 10:30
- Saturday: 08:30 to 12:00
