While the weather this week may not have been kind to our hockey and football players, who missed out on three days of competitive fixtures due to frozen pitches, last week was perfect for our cross country runners who were crowned the overall winners of the combined boys’ age group competition at the Beds and District Cross Country.

All the age groups performed superbly with our U12 team winning their age category, our U11 boys took second place (a mere two points behind the winners of this group), and our U13 boys took third place in their group.

Director of Sport in the Prep School, Shawn Phillips commented, “I am delighted for the boys on their success. This was a superb result across the board! Well done boys.”

Elsewhere, despite the cold conditions and cancelled fixtures, the boys continued undeterred and made good use of the time to hone their skills ready for the next competitive fixture.
