The Prep School’s cross country had a superb day at the District Cross Country Championships at Priory Country Park on Thursday 25th January, recording both individual and team wins, and top three successes.

The boys faced a muddy course but with good weather for a change!  At U11 level, Edward Dagg came in first with his brother James hot on his heels for third place. Sam Deardon backed this up with a fine run to finish seventh which, considering that he is under ten, shows great potential. The rest of the team pushed hard and their combined efforts enabled them to come first overall.

The U12s also ran well as a team, with Oliver Yates and Harry Tolmie the first two runners home for Bedford Prep in 23rd & 24th spots.

At U13 level, Tom Deardon worked hard to gain a great third place individually, and the rest of the team gave their best too.

A superb day’s running!
