Crescent House Triumphs in House Singing!

The atmosphere was electric as boys, teachers and parents gathered for this year’s highly anticipated House Singing competition. The event, known for its fierce yet friendly rivalry, showcased the incredible talent and spirit of our school community. This year, Crescent House emerged victorious, capturing the hearts of the audience and adjudicator alike with their stunning performances.

From the moment the boys first took to the stage, it was clear that something special was about to unfold. As the first notes filled the Great Hall, the audience was immediately captivated. The boys, exuded confidence and unity; their harmonies were flawless, the energy palpable and the passion undeniable.

Every boy sang with such emotion and conviction that it was impossible not to be moved. The soloists delivered their parts with breathtaking skill, while the choruses provided a powerful and uplifting backdrop.

As the final note echoed through the Great Hall, there was a moment of hushed anticipation before the audience erupted into applause. This year’s guest adjudicator was Craig McLeish, Director of Young Voices UK, who was clearly impressed by the performances and had the hard job of picking the winners.

One boy from Crescent House shared, “Winning this year’s House Singing competition means the world to us. We’ve worked so hard, and to see it all come together in such a beautiful way is truly unforgettable. This victory is a testament to our dedication and the incredible support we have for each other.”

Overall Winners – Crescent (Pemberley)

The entire school community is proud of all boys who took part and House Singing 2024 will be remembered for years to come as a shining example of what can be accomplished when we come together with a shared purpose and passion.
