East India Club discounted membership
As an Old Bedfordian, you are able to apply for J7 membership of the prestigious East India Club at highly preferential rates. J7 membership is open to those aged 18 to 24, providing full access to the club’s facilities, including dining rooms, a library, gym, and overnight accommodation. For a one-off fee, J7 members enjoy membership until the December following their 25th birthday, with no additional entrance fee.
J7 members benefit from a vibrant social calendar, including dinners, lectures, and access to prestigious sporting events like cricket at Lord’s and rugby at Twickenham. The club also supports a wide range of interests such as polo, sailing, chess, wine tasting, and jazz, fostering a dynamic community of young professionals within one of London’s most traditional and respected private clubs.
To qualify, you must contact the OB Club on obclub@bedfordschool.org.uk for a letter of recommendation from the Head Master.
Shop St
Through the Club, OBs can access Shop St, a mobile app-based platform available for free, which offers discounts on everyday essentials. It provides savings from thousands of brands, both global and local, through a cardless, cashless shopping experience.
The platform allows users to purchase gift cards in real time with just a few clicks, making it a convenient way to access exclusive deals.
Club members who have joined have managed to save significant amounts of money.

OB Merchandise – No Limitz
The school shop, NoLimitz owned and managed by OB Jamie Elphick (’97–’99), offers a broad range of OB memorabilia – from clothing to pictures, for OBs to purchase.
Cricket has been played at Bedford School on a variety of different grounds since 1845.
180 Not Out encapsulates the flavour of our great game nurtured within the School’s environment, spawning a multitude of personalities and a pastiche of fascinating events.
This book is not being sold for profit but instead all proceeds generated from sales will be going back into the Bedford School Cricket Club to support the current boys with the purchase of kit.
