Friends of Bedford School Boat Club
Friends of Bedford School Boat Club (FoBSBC) is a supportive network of parents who support the boys involved in rowing, their coaches, and one another. United by a shared passion for the sport and the school, the group plays a vital role in fostering community, encouragement, and pride both on and off the water.
They also provide a link for OBs and their parents to keep in touch with the school rowing community.
The Friends activities range from handing out hot chocolate and doughnuts to cold rowers after spring training, to hosting the popular BBQ at Bedford Regatta. They also raise vital funds to support rowing at Bedford School and produce a regular newsletter to keep everyone in touch. New volunteers are always welcome to join in and help make each event a success.
If you would like to know more about what we do or wish to get involved in our fun and friendly community, please email us at friendsofbsbc@bedfordschool.org.uk.
For those parents who are non-rowers, please see here for an overview of everything you need to know about rowing.
