We are delighted to invite Old Bedfordians and their guests to the 2025 Annual Dinner which, this year, will be held back at the school on Saturday 15th November.
OBs and guests will enjoy welcome drinks and a delicious three-course meal (including a complimentary half bottle of wine). Attend as an individual, with your partner or, why not get a group of your school friends together?
This year’s guest speaker will be Lt Col James Shaw (90-98) Since leaving Bedford School, James has had a hugely interesting career – he led the team that delivered the military elements of Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee and Funeral, and His Majesty King Charles’s Coronation, for which he was recognised and appointed as Lieutenant of the Victorian Order (LVO) in the 2024 New Year’s Honours List.
Why not make a weekend of it, and enjoy a tour of the school, and then either stay and watch the Colts A & C teams take on Stamford or perhaps visit some of your old haunts before returning in the evening for dinner? Or you can even catch a game of football in the afternoon as Real Bedford take on Harborough Town at the Ledger Stadium at 3pm. Alternatively, stay in Bedford for a couple of nights and watch Bedford Blues as they take on Caldy at 7.45pm on Friday 14th November before joining in the school events on Saturday 15th.
There will also be anniversary reunions for the following year groups:
10 Year Reunion – for the Class of 2015
20 Year Reunion – for the Class of 2005
30 Year Reunion – for the Class of 1995
40 Year Reunion – for the Class of 1985
50 Year Reunion – for the Class of 1975
60 Year Reunion – for the Class of 1965
We anticipate that this event will sell out quickly, so please do book early to avoid disappointment.
