The Commemoration of the school’s Founders and Benefactors is a significant tradition in the school calendar, providing us all with the opportunity to reflect on how fortunate we are to be part of this wonderful institution, and to celebrate the generosity of our community, both past and present.
If you have been part of the school community for a while, visions of our academic staff, attired in their gowns processing into our chapel will no doubt spring to mind. A sermon is held where thanks are given before an enjoyable lunch with members of the school community.
Always a moving occasion, we hope that this year’s Commemoration of Founders and Benefactors – online for the first time in the school’s 468-year history – will, once again, be a reflection of our proud heritage as well as our hopes for the future. We warmly invite all boys, parents and staff to watch this special online service led by the Head Master and Old Bedfordian Lance Feaver (69-74), along with Old Bedfordian Miles Young (63-72), at 11.00am on Sunday.
