On Sunday 25th June, past members of the School chapel choir joined current members to sing the morning service.  It was great to see a wide age range and some travelled long distances to be with us.  Thank you so much to all those who attended: Rory MacArthur (59-67), Peter Godber (53-63), Peter Rowe (03-08), Colin Rowe (85-90), Christopher Burr (58-69), Alan Lau (10-12), Ben Holt (00-11), Oliver Milton (01-12), Arran Peters (00-11) and Will White (01-11).  They were joined by former composer-in-residence James Lark, and the organ was played by Jim Cooper, junior organ scholar at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.  We sang Haydn’s ‘Little Organ’ mass and God is gone up by Finzi and followed the service with refreshments in the Music School.  It was a wonderful occasion and helped the current generation of young singers realise the weight of tradition behind what they are doing!
