Big congratulations to Charlie Ballard (04-15) who cycled from Scotland to Cambridge via Newcastle this June to raise money for C2 Ward at Addenbrookes Hospital. His stepsister Emily is undergoing treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and her family have currently raised almost £19,000 for the C2 Ward through the sponsored bike ride. Charlie, pictured on the right, cycled with fellow OB Hywel Ford (01-08), right, who is raising money for the Road Victims Trust in memory of Archie Wellbelove (01-12). Current Head Boy Aidan Swain and his father, Peter, also joined them on route from Newcastle to Cambridge. Starting their epic cycle ride on Monday 13th June, the group arrived in Cambridge on Saturday 18th June, having cycled almost 400 miles in just six days!
