The Chapel Choir went on tour to Cornwall in late August. Our job was to sing at the daily services in Truro Cathedral, which involved preparing a very large amount of music. The boys quickly adapted to the demanding schedule and sang really well in this magnificent building. There is a thousand-year-old tradition in this country of daily singing in cathedrals and it was a privilege to be part of it.
We were in a very beautiful part of the country and in our downtime did some water sports, went to the beach and visited the amazing Eden project. Mr Rouse was also very impressed that several boys got up every morning at 7am to join him for a run! We were very pleased to be joined by a group of local Old Bedfordians for one of our services.
