A group of boys from across the school came together to take part in a street dance workshop led by the established, and ubercool, dancer and choreographer, Sam Golle.
The boys were introduced to old school hip-hop dance moves including the Smurf, Bismarck, Bart Simpson and the Steve Martin.
The boys built up the variations in manageable, chunks and were soon showing their inner swag and performing a dance routine from start to finish.
Head of Academic Drama, Mrs Antoinette Keylock, who organised the workshop, explained, “Dance is so important for boys to help them improve co-ordination, balance, flexibility and stamina. Additionally, from a social perspective dance does so much more – the discipline itself takes patience and dedication – invaluable lessons that boys need in all aspects of life.”
