A dozen Old Bedfordians together with their wives/partners joined local DVP, Paul Mantell (66-71) and his wife, Kathy, on Saturday 14th October, for the annual Bournemouth luncheon. It was, as usual, great fun and old acquaintances renewed for another year. We were delighted to welcome from the School, Chris Jones, Master-in-Charge of the Ickwell Reserve who gave us all a lively update on current events at the School, paying particular emphasis on the House Singing Competition very recently held! The Ickwell project was new to a number of the OBs and was well received. We were also very pleased to welcome again, in support of our luncheon, David Jones (60-64), the DVP for Devon and Cornwall, and his wife Liz. We hope to build on this in the future and to see more OBs supporting their events locally.
