We were delighted to welcome crowned celebrity photographer Andy Gotts MBE to the Quarry Theatre on 28th September 2015.

Andy Gotts spoke in fascinating detail on his BAFTA: Behind the Mask exhibition, which showcases international actors and actresses to have won or been nominated for a BAFTA since 1954.

Speaking about his work, Andy Gotts said, “Even though I have been given the title ‘celebrity photographer’ I have always seen myself as a photographer of actors . . . I specialize in character studies of the face and try to show a new and different side of world famous faces in my ‘warts and all’ style.”

Rich Man (L6) commented, “I really enjoyed the talk, it was inspirational to an aspiring photographer like myself, and to see one of the best celebrity photographer just metres away from me was almost like a dream come true.”

The exhibition which is part of the Bedford Film Festival runs until 31st October 2015 and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 12 noon, and whenever the Quarry Theatre is open for an event or show.
