Congratulations to Bedford School’s pastry chef, Claire Hadley,
who recently showcased her talents in the annual Sodexo Salon Culinaire – one
of the largest culinary competitions in the UK.

Claire’s impressively decorated 2-tier celebration cake earned
her the Gold Medal as well as the Judges praise in the static class.
 Claire was also rewarded a bronze medal in the live class; producing a
warm chocolate tart with a compote of autumn fruits and cream for two covers in
just 30 minutes.

We are delighted to have such great talent at the school and
look forward to tasting many more of her delicious desserts in the coming
months!
