Inspired by the iconic works of Brit Pop Artist David Hockney, boys from Y6 explored the medium of acrylic this week.
They created their very own eye-catching still life paintings by applying a strong base layer using the quick drying paint, before adding shadows and highlights to make their paintings ‘pop’.
We were very impressed by their creative ideas and painting skills as well as their great focus and enthusiasm.
