On Wednesday 13 November, we hosted the much-anticipated annual Open Mic Night in aid of Movember. Held in our Music Recital Hall, and in collaboration with Bedford Girls’ School, this event has become a highlight in both the music and charity calendars.
The evening was filled with superb performances that truly created a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. Pupils from both schools showcased their talents, delivering a variety of acts that ranged from soulful solo performances to energetic group numbers treating the audience to an eclectic mix of music, all contributing to a memorable night.
The event not only celebrated the artistic talents of the pupils but also supported a great cause. Movember, which focuses on men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health, benefited from the funds raised during the evening. The sense of community and shared purpose was palpable, as everyone came together to enjoy the performances and support the cause.
A special thank you goes out to all the performers, organisers and attendees who made the night a resounding success. Their enthusiasm and generosity have made a significant impact to our Movember campaign, and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
