The last week of term before Christmas is always an exciting affair, and this year was no exception!

With carol services galore for boys and their families in our beautiful Chapel, a delicious Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, followed by a magic show for our Y3 and Y4 boys and girls from Bedford Girls’ School – by Tuesday, we were most certainly in the Christmas spirit. But the fun did not stop there, on Wednesday Y5 headed out to Milton Keynes Theatre to enjoy an afternoon of panto, while Y3 sang their hearts out for the residents of the Airedale Nursing Home, who could not help but be cheered by their infectious enthusiasm and joyful carols. Tuesday also saw 33 boxes filled with festive food treats donated to support the All Nations Church ‘Christmas in a box’. Thank you to everyone who donated items for this year’s appeal, which was bigger than ever. Wednesday and Thursday saw boys of all ages competing in House Rugby – not festive but certainly fun!

Friendship, fun, camaraderie and giving – we can’t think of a much better way to come together as a school community, and as part of the wider Bedford community, to wrap up the term and 2019.
