What an exciting week of school cricket we have lined up. We are proud to be the only school to boast such excellent positions for teams across all our year groups.

Every A team in the school has reached the final or semi-finals of their respective national competition – all of which are being played this week.

Here is the match line up:

Under 14ABedfordshire County Cup Final. Bedford School versus Bedford Modern School on Monday 25 June at 4.30pm at Bedford School, 2nd XI pitch. The winner of this match is not only the county champion, but will also qualify for the ESCA U15 Cup (formerly the Lord’s Taverners Cup) next season.

Under 15AESCA U15 Cup. Bedford School versus Repton School on Monday 25 June at 1.15pm at Bedford School, 1st XI pitch. This is the second year of this competition for this team (they were crowned county champions when they were U14) so a win will take them to the national finals taking place on Monday 9 July at Oakham School.

Under 17AThe National U17 Cup. Bedford School versus Shrewsbury on Tuesday 26 June at 1.15pm at Bedford School, 1st XI pitch. Again, this is a national competition with the final being played in September.

1st XIHMC T20 Competition. Bedford School versus Malvern on Monday 25 June at 12.30pm at Wellington College, 1st XI pitch. The finals day (which includes semis and the final) will take place on Thursday 28 June at Arundel Castle. **News hot off the press** – Bedford School have just won this game with three balls to spare. This takes us through to the final at Arundel Castle on Thursday 28 June.

We wish all the boys playing the very best of luck. Final details for fixtures are available on the School calendar. Parents, past parents, and Old Bedfordians are welcome! Please do bring a picnic and support those matches.
