The science department is always an exciting place to be; full of discovery, wonder and fun, and this week has been no exception.

Y3 took a close look at a range of fabrics under the microscope and were amazed at how different the various fibres all looked when magnified.

Y6 took a colourful look at acids and alkalis when they investigated neutralisation reactions using indicators.

Week in week out, our extensive collection of animals including a salamander, numerous tropical and saltwater fish, stick and leaf insects, a chameleon, gerbils and, the most recent addition, Steve the corn snake, provide the boys with plenty of great educational experiences as they study and care for them.
