Sixth Form boys who sat the International Baccalaureate received their results over the weekend and we are delighted to announce that half the grades awarded were at level 7 or 6, which is equivalent to an A* to A. Furthermore, four boys achieved 40 points or above, placing them in an elite group of IB candidates across the globe.

The boys have already secured places at prestigious universities for a diversity of courses including;

  • Cambridge for Music
  • Warwick for Philosophy, Politics & Economics
  • UCL for Architecture
  • Durham for Philosophy, and also Modern Languages & Culture
  • The University of the Arts, London for Fashion Marketing

James Hodgson, Head Master, said, “I am incredibly proud of all of our IB Diploma students. Their results are testament to all of the hard work and dedication they have put in. Our 2019 results bring the overall score of Bedford School pupils to an average 36 points over the past eight years, compared to the worldwide average of below 30 points.”
