Est 1979, Bedford School Theatre is Bedford’s only theatre with a full touring programme hosting theatre, comedy, dance and live music. The venue is also home to our GSCE, IB and A-Level Drama students offering them a professionally resourced space which can support and respond to all their creative needs.

This autumn we have an exciting and diverse array of professional and school productions, including Farm Boy; Michael Morpurgo's sequel to War Horse - fun for all the family, An Audience with Peter Snow and the classic Guys & Dolls, performed by Bedford School's very own talented students.

All productions are open to the public and we warmly invite you to come along and experience the best of touring theatre, comedy, dance and live music in an individual and intimate setting.

Where we are

The Theatre is located in the heart of Bedford School, just off De Parys Avenue in the town centre. The theatre is clearly signposted from the School's main entrance. For you convenience free car parking is also available on site.
