The School’s curriculum encompasses and surpasses national requirements and expectations. Traditional practice enhanced by innovative teaching and a forward thinking approach provides a balance between academic and creative, sporting and social activities, all vital ingredients to a boy’s education and personal growth.
All boys have a broad academic curriculum with the fundamentals of English, Mathematics and Science emphasised at all levels. In addition, from the age of 7 they are taught French, Geography, History, Design Technology, Art, Music and Religious Education as separate subjects with opportunities to experience and study Spanish, German and Latin from the age of 11. ICT skills are developed by means of a combination of taught lessons and an overall cross-curricular approach. Physical education and games are part of every boy’s week.
